The challenge usually isn't capability.

Most leaders don't need more knowledge. They need a more accurate picture of how they actually operate.

Executive Coaching for Leaders Operating at the Edge of Their Capacity

The leaders I work with are accomplished. They've built things, led teams, made high-stakes decisions, and earned significant trust. They're not looking for fundamentals.

What they're looking for, even if they don't name it this way, is a direct, evidence-based assessment of the behavioral patterns that are limiting their effectiveness at this level and beyond. The things that strong performance has allowed them to work around, until now. The gaps that start showing up when the stakes get higher, the team gets larger, or the pressure doesn't let up.

That's the work. Not a framework. Not a methodology. A rigorous, individualized process for understanding how you actually operate and building the specific capacity that your role requires.

What We Work On

My Approach

Many coaching engagements focus on tactics.

I focus on what's driving the behavior underneath them.

The way leaders respond under pressure is rarely random. Neither is the way they build trust, address conflict, communicate expectations, or make decisions. Those patterns are consistent, observable, and with the right kind of examination, changeable.

My approach draws on clinical psychology, leadership assessment science, and over a decade evaluating leaders in high-consequence environments where behavioral accuracy wasn't aspirational, it was an operational necessity.

The goal isn't insight as an end in itself.

It's measurable change in how you lead, how your team experiences your leadership, and how you perform when the conditions are hardest.

Built on Experience in High-Consequence Environments

Before working with executives, I spent years as the Deputy Director of Operational Psychology within a Tier 1 Navy SEAL unit — leading the assessment, selection, and development of leaders whose performance under pressure had life-or-death consequences.

That experience permanently changed how I understand leadership.

Not as charisma.
Not as confidence.
Not as a title.

But as a series of observable behaviors that become most visible when the stakes are highest and most consequential when they're misread.

That standard of precision is what I apply here.

Who I Work With

Because every coaching engagement is customized, services are structured around the individual's goals, responsibilities, and organizational context.
